Breath in breath out - life can be a hard ride. Especially when the end is near and there's no beginning in sight. It's a common American myth that the night is darkest before the dawn. Look to the sky in any big city; it's hard to tell when the darkest hour has come. Because it all feels the same. The differences between night and day are minimalized so we can play our sinister games. Breath in breath out. What is this life all about? It's hard for me to believe life is lived from club to club just trying to get some. That seems to be what t.v. would like me to believe; someone's got an ace hidden up they sleeve. Everybody is witty after a few drinks, and we all always know just what to think. Ya, everybody knows which way the wind blows. That's how the sinister games go: it's all life imitating art on the t.v. shows. Breath in breath out. We all perceive life in a unique way. Everyone has their dark struggles, yet the sun rises for all on the next day. Beginnings can be hard to find. Especially when we refuse to let ends go. Pretty soon life starts to look like spaghetti - intertwined and indistinguishable. Letting go can ease the pain caused by sinister games. There's no need to feel ashamed - Everybody has their stuggles, this life is full of trouble: it's all part of the game.

about

Andy Joseph Minneapolis, Minnesota

Just a Madison boy, born and raised. I play the guitar to pass my days. And when the time comes to entertain, I'll leave no inactive cell in your brain. When the word goes through about the work I do, I hope you'll open up and sing along too.
